May brought significant progress in the construction of the TODI buildings, reflecting our commitment to delivering homes of the highest quality and comfort. Here is a summary of the work currently underway:

The first visible step in this process is the erection of scaffolding, preparing the buildings for exterior work. This work includes plastering, exterior finishes, and other aesthetic details that will define the buildings’ final appearance. The scaffolding ensures the safety and efficiency of the workers, allowing them to operate at great heights with confidence.

Another essential step completed this month is the installation of waterproofing on the roofs. This stage is crucial for protecting the buildings against water infiltration, ensuring the long-term durability and structural integrity of the buildings. The waterproofing materials used are of the highest quality, guaranteeing maximum weather resistance.

Inside, screeds were poured to level the floor, a crucial step in preparing the surfaces for the final flooring. The screeds ensure a perfectly smooth surface, which is essential for the efficient and aesthetically pleasing installation of subsequent finishes, such as hardwood, tile, or carpet.

May 2024 was a busy month for the installation teams. Significant progress was made on:

  • Heating Systems: installation of piping and equipment necessary for the efficient heating and cooling of buildings;
  • Plumbing: configuration of water supply and sewer systems, essential for the comfort of occupants;
  • Electrical Systems: cable runs and electrical equipment are installed to ensure optimal building functionality;
  • Air Conditioning: installation of climate control systems to ensure thermal comfort in all seasons;
  • Low-Voltage Systems (Fiber Optics): provision of state-of-the-art connectivity through the installation of fiber optic cables and other networks necessary for high-speed communications and internet.

The final item on the list of May’s progress is the installation of door frames. This step prepares the spaces for the installation of interior doors, contributing to the final layout of the apartments. The frames are essential for the stability and functionality of the doors, ensuring their durability in daily use.
